Software 072-09 Web Developer Job Description: The Web Developer will be responsible for the following: • Design and implement the GUI (Web Presence) for the database backend • Develop Web Service queries/interfaces to current agency systems • Develop Web Services interfaces to the data stored in the database • Provide Software Documentation for each element of development • Maintain source code documentation and interface descriptions for each element developed • Work with agency system developers to identify ways to properly interface with their systems |

Required Skills: • Experience in writing Rich Internet Applications (RIA) using HTML, JavaScript, creating graphics, programming PHP, developing and implementing AJAX and building and consuming web services through (either SOAP or XML-RPC) • Experience in PHP, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, CGI • Familiarity with developing in UNIX environment • Familiarity with developing modular code is a must Degree: Bachelor's degree and 15 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and a minimum of 13 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Clearance: Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of full screening polygraph.
